Scotia Stone Limited is a recognized Nova Scotia company that has been in operation since 1996. It specializes in quarrying as well as manufacturing high-quality slate products for commercial and residential use.

Scotia Stone extracts slate material from its quarry located approximately two kilometers from the Company’s manufacturing facilities in East Gore, Nova Scotia. Our location, just 20 minutes from the 102 Highway, allows for excellent traffic logistics for shipping purposes.

Scotia Stone specializes in manufacturing high quality slate into various shapes and sizes to meet the multiple needs of their customers. They have great pride in their products and want to ensure our customers feel the same pride in their slate projects. Scotia Stone products are sold using a network of dealers who sell directly to contractors, landscapers as well as home and business owners. Currently there are various vendors who promote and sell Scotia Stone in Atlantic Canada, Ontario, Quebec, and Alberta. The distinctive nature of the stone and its premium quality needed to be conveyed to the customer base. Along with a premium brand an online home was needed to display product samples as well as list the ever-growing list of vendors across Canada.

Solution

Scotia Stone products range in color from multicolor grays, blue grays, silver, dark greens, sage greens, burgundy shades, and some earthy tones giving a natural presentation in all its talented applications. These colours are distinctive and unique the to the stone provided by the quarry, and those colours were used closely in all materials brand and website included. The incorporation of the Nova Scotia lion in rampant pose reinforced the origin of the stone as well as the historical, luxury and longevity of the product.
