creating our own media to inform, educate and inspire people to act
Praxis Media Productions is a non-profit online media collective that produces educational resources featuring critical voices on under reported topics and issues.
Pierre Loiselle
Pierre Loiselle is a longtime social justice activist. These days, he finds himself particularly working on prison issues, indigenous solidarity, and the psychiatric survivor’s movement.
He has worked in the campus-community radio sector for over a decade, and has contributed writing to various magazines, on-line newspapers and even a book chapter. Pierre is often heard espousing the importance of creating our own media to inform, educate and inspire people to act. To this extent, Pierre co-founded Praxis Media Productions, a non-profit organization that produces educational audio resources.
Having lived across Canada, Pierre now calls Halifax home. He still considers himself a radio geek and works for both the Halifax Coalition Against Poverty and Dominion Newspaper radio programs.
His audio projects are frequently broadcast on campus, community, and pirate radio stations across North America.
