Bob Thomas is President and co-founder of Progeny Software Inc., a Nova Scotian-based software company that specialized in visual analysis and presentation tools for an international market – Progeny’s products have been sold in over 71 countries. Bob's responsibilities include business & product development, marketing and sales, financial planning, and day to day operations of the Business Software division. A graduate of UNB with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Bob spent more than 25 years in the information technology industry, working with both government and private sector firms before starting his own consulting practice in 1992 followed by Progeny in 1994.
